This guide presents the Pike and Coarse fish Bye Laws introduced in 2006 as
part of the conservation measured to protect our Pike and Coarse fish stocks.
This guide is presented in eight different languages as a convenient pocket
guide for anglers to carry around. A hard copy can be ordered online, please email your request to
stating the bye law requested and your name
and postal address.
This Bye Law
provides for an annual bag limit of 10 fish for 2007, a season bag limit of 1
fish in the period 1 Jan to 12 May, a daily bag limit of 1 fish from September 1
to the end of season. The Bye Law also provides for the use of single hooks and
prohibits the use of worms as bait once the specified number of fish have been
caught in the specific periods and revokes the existing limit Bye Law.
